Ford's engineers decided to equip the 2018 F-150 with an all-new 3.3 L V6 engine that runs on the Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) technology. This six-cylinder engine produces 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of peak torque. Another new powertrain option is the 3.0 L Power Stroke engine, which is powered by diesel. Stowable loading ramps are also conveniently set up on the the beds of both models. Available in both trims, the Cargo Management System and BoxLink make it easy to organize and transport various types of equipment. These installations are fully compatible with cleats, E-hooks, S-hooks and other common hardware. Efficient yet powerful, LED lights provide bright illumination of the entire bed.
